Eye-popping and show-stopping contortionists, jugglers, musicians, clowns, and entertainers will come together and thrill crowds outside on the streets for this tenth anniversary celebration July 28 and 29, 2012.
This year Centrefest commemorates ten years of weird and wonderful acts on the streets of downtown Red Deer.
The Red Deer Artwalk Festival is an annual community visual art festival that has been showcasing our local and regional artists since 1989.
In 2008 the festival expanded from a one day event to a week long celebration that includes artists’ demonstrations, a gallery tour, a film night and a full festival day in a downtown park.
“Put Yourself in the Picture” and come join the fun! The Artwalk Amble will be held on Thursday, June 14, and the Red Deer Artwalk Festival will be held on June 16 in Rotary Recreation Park!

The 4th Annual Central Alberta Children's Festival was sponsored by Family Services of Central Alberta and its many community partners. This two-day event provides fun, arts and crafts, activities and International peforming artist Fred Penner. Flyin' Bob will also headline festival which also includes local entertainers. The entrance fee of $5 includes all activities, performances and snacks.
