The concept of the Hundred Mile Diet is to eat a diet consisting of food harvested from within an area bounded by a 100 mile radius. Ivor Mackay and his family took on the challenge of following the 100-Mile Diet in ... Edmonton! Is the 100-Mile Diet even possible in a northern climate? Can one live quite well on the bounty produced close to home? Hear Ivor MacKay speak about the challenges and delights of following the 100 Mile Diet and join in the broadening discussion about local food, food in general and its importance in our lives. Co-hosted by ReThink Red Deer.
