Ed and Dick, two old friends, have returned from Frank's funeral and are about to go trout fishing. But before they venture out into the Nova Scotian countryside, there are a few words that need to be said about the deceased, his wife, a hornet's nest as big as a Honda Civic, a few of the local churches and some of the people that live in this small country town.

The ACFA Regional of Red Deer will be offering French Discussion Classes taught by M. François Piché as of Wednesday, January 11, 2012. The first class will consist of sorting the groups by each fluency level and will start at 6:30pm. Once again they will take place at the ACFA Regional office (4930-B Ross Street). The cost is 100$ for the 8 sessions. As usual, the fee is payable by cheque or cash. Please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot!

The second annual Red Deer Justice Film Festival will be taking place this coming weekend, at City Centre Stage! The festival features nine documentary films, based around a variety of topics, but all centering around the themes of global citizen engagement, and advocating for the wellbeing of local and global neighbours.
