Having opened art & bean a short time ago, owner Andrea Rinkel continues to develop its upscale market boutique flavour with new and interesting items arriving all the time.
Everything at the shop has a reason for being there. Rainforest alliance, fair trade, direct trade, organic, Canadian or locally made are just a few of those reasons. The general philosophy is that a dedication to equal balances of indulgence and responsibility help to promote happy, healthy, thoughtfully engaged lifestyles!
A multitude of healthful products, apparel items, accessories, beautiful loose teas, delectable coffees and organic chocolates along with products that promote giving back like the Light a Candle Feed a Child program will keep you going back!
Andrea takes pleasure in supporting the immense talent of Alberta’s artists and artisans. The walls of the shop are becoming an ever changing gallery used to support those talents. Local jewellers, glass blowers and silver smiths keep the display cases stocked with unique gifts that won’t be found elsewhere.
They call it their little happy place in the world - It smells great, looks good and lots of their stuff is just plain good for you! Coming to art & bean is like taking a little holiday. You will see things there that you won’t see anywhere else. The products carried in art & bean represent a way of life, one that Andrea hopes to spread throughout the community.
art and bean is open at 4804 50th Avenue, Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
