It's time once again to invite individuals to actively participate in the work of the Red Deer Downtown Business Association.

Opportunity to Get Involved

The Downtown Business Association seeks individuals who have an interest in the future of downtown and are willing to make the commitment to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for a three-year term January 2010 through December 2012.

Role of Directors

Supported by staff, the Board is responsible to set policy, review progress and provide direction for the association.  Directors are expected to participate in monthly board meetings, the Annual General Meeting, as well as organizational events and committee responsibilities as required.

Interested candidates are encouraged to review the 2008 Annual Report and Strategic Plan.

Candidates must be operators or employees of businesses who pay the Business Revitalization Zone levy.  Nominations must be received not later than 5pm, October 26, 2009.
