Women of Excellence Nominations Open

The Red Deer & District Community Foundation “Women of Excellence Awards Program” is a celebration of innovation, leadership, achievement and talent as demonstrated by women throughout Central Alberta!
Nominations for the 2011 Women of Excellence Awards Program are underway. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 4:00 pm. The 4th Annual Women of Excellence Awards Gala will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Capri Hotel.
Women of Excellence are neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family members, have enriched our community and inspired us through their creativity, compassion and dedication, and have used their talents, vision and determination to make Central Alberta a better place to live.
The development and presentation of these awards reflects the Community Foundation’s commitment to increase public and community recognition of women who have earned our admiration and respect. Each year the Community Foundation will recognize contributions and achievements of the women nominated in the Women of Excellence awards categories. Women from across Central Alberta will be honored in 11 categories; Agriculture and Environment, Arts and Culture, Athletics, Recreation and Fitness, Business and the Professions, Community Building, Education and Training ,Entrepreneurship, Health and Wellness, Human Services, Young Woman of Excellence, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
