DOSE Coffee & Love Providing Premium Coffee

DOSE Coffee & Love has opened up on the second floor of Sunworks at 4924 50th (Ross) Street. DOSE is not just any old coffee shop. You won’t find pots filled with generic coffee. What you will find, is owners Rolland Forsland and Alison McCracken using the “pour over” method of coffee making, involving hand grinding the best, most fresh beans, and hand pouring the heated water directly over the bean. The four minute process results in a full bodied, but cleaner and more pure flavor of coffee. The flavor you will find comes directly from the bean.
You can taste hints of flavors you wouldn’t find in a regular cup of coffee; Fruit, coffee and vanilla flavors that come directly from the bean. DOSE uses premier beans from Social Coffee, and Phil & Sebastian Roasters to make latte, cappucinno espresso, macchiato, flat white, and pretty much any other specialty coffee you can think of. They also serve seasonal specialty combos that will combine a specialty bean with a fruit that will lend to the flavor of the coffee.
DOSE Coffee & Love also carries over a dozen flavours of Victoria’s Silk Road Tea, and Dry Soda Company soft drinks, with flavors like Lemon Grass, Lavender, Vanilla Bean, and more. These are all natural soft drinks, and vary from 45 to 70 calories per bottle, and contain just 11 – 19 grams of sugar. They also carry a small assortment of pastries.

DOSE Coffee & Love is open from 8 – 6, Tuesday through Friday, 10 – 6 on Saturday and 12 – 5 on Sunday.
