Downtown Red Deer Market returns for 11th season

The Red Deer Downtown Business Association is pleased to announce the return of the Downtown Red Deer Market for its 11th consecutive season. Proudly presented by the Red Deer Downtown Business Association, the market provides a weekly opportunity for market enthusiasts, families and foodies to shop local.

Starting May 29 and continuing every Wednesday until October 9 the Downtown Red Deer Market operates from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. At this year’s season launch Located near the entrance, there will be a Spin-to-Win wheel where you can win prizes to kick off your 11th market season. The market is located on Little Gaetz (50) Avenue from Alexander Way (48 Street) to Ross (50) Street.

The market welcomes back local and fresh producers from around Central Alberta. New and returning vendors will be selling products including fresh veggies and meat, baked goods, jams, jellies, and more.

Operating in Downtown Red Deer since 2009, the market attracts visitors from all over Central Alberta. In addition to vendors, the market features a Community Corner that offers space for up to two not-for-profit organizations per week, free of charge.
